I love thinking that this is how Stiles’s mind works.

He’s studying here, highlighting all of the things that he thinks are important— and it just so happens that Stiles thinks all of the information is important. 

And I love that. I love the idea that, when an idea interests him enough to earn his focus and energy, he wants to know everything about it. I love thinking that Stiles sees every word as being crucial, like no detail can be spared the second that Stiles Stilinski has decided a topic is interesting.

He might not focus on everything equally, and he might get easily sidetracked when he isn’t interested, but I love to think that the stuff Stiles cares about learning he learns inside and out with no shortcuts or breaks in highlighting.
